How to Verify Your Account: A Guide for Clients from Nigeria

Verifying your account is an essential step to ensure the security and full functionality of our services. For clients from Nigeria, follow these simple steps to complete your account verification.

  • What documents do we accept?

    • Passport
    • National ID Card
    • National Driver License
    • Digital NIN
    • NIN Slip
    • ECOWAS Residence Card

When uploading documents to your account for verification it is important to ensure our requirements are met. These requirements include:

    • Front & Back of the document (if applicable)
    • All 4 corners of the document need to be in frame
    • Must be valid within the last 30 days from submission (not expired)
    • Passports must be signed
    • We do not accept screenshots

  • Why is my NIN Slip not being accepted?

If your NIN slip does not include a date of birth, you will need to attach your birth certificate with the NINs. During the verification process, select 'ID card' and upload the NIN slip as the front ID and the birth certificate as the back ID.

Ensure that the documents you upload includes the full name, photo, date of birth, expiry date, and signature. Additionally, please note that NINs in PDF format are not supported.

Step-by-Step Guide to Verify Your Account

When creating an account, you will be redirected to the verification page. Here, you will need to upload documents, complete a liveness check, and verify your phone number.

  • Begin by selecting the document type and the issuing country, which in this case is Nigeria.

  • After meeting the requirements and successfully uploading the document, you will then need to undergo a liveness check by taking a selfie.
  • Once the selfie is complete you will then need to fill in personal information together with verifying your phone number.
  • Once all the steps for verification are completed, your account will be reviewed within 1-3 minutes with an update.
