Payments via Card through Helio

Helio is the payment gateway we use to handle crypto transactions. When you choose to pay by card, you’ll be redirected to Helio’s website.

If it’s your first time using Helio:

• You’ll need to sign up for a Helio account to complete the transaction.

Helio supports card payments through various on-ramp payment providers such as:

• Transak
• Unlimit
• MoonPay

The provider is automatically selected based on your location and availability—you can’t choose it manually. So the exact steps may vary slightly depending on who you're redirected to.

Jurisdiction Notice: Not all providers support every country or state. If you get an error about your location, try a different payment method or select other avaialble deposit methods such as crypto.

To start your challenge:

1. Log in to your Sway Funded account.

2. Click Start Challenge from the left-hand menu OR select Credit at the top of the screen and select ''Top-Up your account credit'' to top up your account manually.

3. Choose Pay with Card as your deposit method.

Note: Please ensure that you send an amount equal to or greater than the minimum required for this payment method, as sending less may result in the loss of funds. Additionally, some exchanges charge fees; in that case, please ensure that you send a few extra funds to cover those fees.

Follow this process to start a challenge. Once done, select Pay with Card.

Once "Pay With Card" is selected, you will be sent to Helio's website. Should you not have an account with Helio yet, make sure to sign up with them to complete this transfer.

Once you’ve successfully logged in, you’ll be directed to a page where you’ll need to confirm the transaction by entering the required details, including your Sway Funded username.

To find your Sway Funded username, go to your Sway Funded account’s Basic Settings — it’ll be listed in the Username field.

Selecting a payment method

Here, you need to select the payment method on Helio — in this example, select credit/debit card.

When you choose a payment method through Helio, like a credit or debit card, you’ll be redirected to a third-party on-ramp provider to complete your transaction. Simply follow the on-screen steps — this typically includes entering your name, address, and card details.

The on-ramp provider is chosen automatically based on what’s available at the time, so the exact process may vary. Some options may not be available in your region due to local restrictions.

You’ll receive an email confirming the payment once it goes through.

After the transaction is complete, a confirmation screen will appear on your Helio page indicating that the payment was successful. Please note, this may take a few minutes to load.

At this stage, please wait a few minutes for the funds to be credited to your Sway Funded account.

• If you completed the transaction while starting a challenge, your challenge will become available shortly.
• If you topped up your account credit instead, the funds will appear in the Credit section of your account — you’ll then need to use those credits to purchase the challenge of your choice.
