Pay by Card via Moonpay Commerce – Sway Funded Guide
You can easily fund your Sway Funded account using your card through Moonpay Commere.
- MoonPay applies a 2% deposit fee, which will be automatically deducted from your deposit amount. If you have any questions about this fee, please contact MoonPay.
- The chosen on-ramper may require additional KYC verification, so please follow the on-screen instructions to successfully complete your payment.
Here's how the process works, step by step:
Getting Started
To start your challenge:
- Log in to your Sway Funded account.
- Click Start Challenge from the left-hand menu OR select Credit at the top of the screen and select ''Top-Up your account credit'' to top up your account manually.
- Choose Card as your deposit method.

Note: Please ensure that you send an amount equal to or greater than the minimum required for this payment method, as sending less may result in a delay or loss of funds.
Additionally, some exchanges charge fees; in that case, please ensure that you send a few extra funds to cover those fees.
Pay With Card
Follow this process to start a challenge. Enter your Sway Funded Username and once done, select Pay with Card.
(To find your Sway Funded username, go to your Sway Funded account’s Basic Settings — it’ll be listed in the Username field.)
Once "Pay With Card" is selected, you will be redirected to a Moonpay Window.
Please enter your Sway Funded username again and select your preferred payment method. Available payment methods may vary depending on your jurisdiction. Please note that each payment method follows a different process, which may require additional KYC checks or verification steps.
If you already have funds stored in your MoonPay Commerce wallet, you can use them to purchase your next challenge!
- Open your Sway Funded account and initiate a new card deposit.
- Select MoonPay Balance when prompted to choose a payment option.
- MoonPay will apply the funds from your existing wallet balance toward the transaction.
Complete Transaction
After the transaction is complete, a confirmation screen will appear on your Moonpay Commerce page indicating that the payment was successful. At this stage, please wait a few minutes for the funds to be credited to your Sway Funded account!
- If you completed the transaction while starting a challenge, your challenge will become available shortly.
- If you topped up your account credit instead, the funds will appear in the Credit section of your account — you’ll then need to use those credits to purchase the challenge of your choice.
