The Trading Dashboard in Sway Charts serves as your main hub for quickly analyzing essential market information! This dynamic interface includes key metrics like Total Net P&L, Avg Daily Net P&L, Win Rate, Risk/Reward Ratio, Max Drawdown, and so much more, allowing you to keep a close eye on your trading portfolio and make informed decisions.

Opening Your Trading Dashboard

To access your Trading Dashboard on Sway Charts, simply click on 'Trading Dashboard'

Upon opening, you'll be presented with a variety of essential market data:

  • Total Net P&L: This shows your overall financial gain or loss from all completed trades and positions in your Sway Charts trading account, giving you a clear snapshot of your trading performance.

  • Avg Daily Net P&L: This metric reflects the average daily net profit or loss over a specific period, providing insight into your account's financial performance on a daily basis.

  • Asset Type: Here, you can choose the specific instrument or symbol for which you want to access detailed information. To refresh all metrics on your dashboard, just click on the 'Refresh Metrics' option.

  • Risk/Reward Ratio: A crucial trading metric that assesses the potential profit relative to the potential loss in a trade. This helps you evaluate the balance between risk and reward for better strategic decision-making.

  • % Return: This percentage indicates the change in the value of your trading account over a specific period, quantifying your overall profitability or loss in a clear format.

  • Avg Winning Trade Holding Time: This metric reveals the average duration that successful trades are held, offering insights into your profitable trading strategy's typical time frame.

  • Avg Losing Trade Holding Time: Conversely, this signifies the average duration that unsuccessful trades remain open before being closed.

  • Win Rate: A performance metric that indicates the percentage of successful trades relative to the total number of trades executed. This quick measure helps you assess the effectiveness of your trading strategy.

  • Max Drawdown: A critical risk metric that represents the maximum percentage decline in your account's value from its peak to its lowest point, helping gauge the potential risk and volatility of your investment strategy.

  • Avg Winning Trade Net P&L: This reflects the average net profit from successful trades, providing insight into the typical financial outcome of your winning positions.

  • Avg Losing Trade Net P&L: This indicates the average net loss incurred from unsuccessful trades, helping you evaluate the impact of your unprofitable positions.

  • Instruments Traded (Overall Positive and Negative Product P&L): This refers to the cumulative profit and loss generated from all trades, giving you a comprehensive overview of your performance during a given period.

  • Per Day Traded Net P&L: This metric showcases the average daily net profit or loss over a selected period, grouped by weekdays, indicating your day-to-day financial performance through buying and selling.

Sway Charts provides a comprehensive view of crucial data for a specific instrument or symbol within your chosen time frame. You can select from predefined time ranges such as Today, Last Week, Last Month, or All History. Alternatively, you can customize your time range for a more tailored analysis.

The 'Asset Type' field indicates the specific instrument or symbol for which you want to view detailed information on your Sway Charts Trading Dashboard. To ensure you have the most current data, simply click on the 'Refresh Metrics' option to update and refresh all metrics on your dashboard.
