Verify Your Source of Funds

2 min. readlast update: 05.26.2026

At Sway Funded, we believe in putting traders first while maintaining a secure and transparent trading environment for everyone. To protect our platform and support a smooth trading experience, we may occasionally request documents that confirm the ownership and origin of your funds or assets.

This verification process helps us meet financial compliance requirements, prevent unauthorized activity, and ensure that every trader operates within a trusted ecosystem.

As part of our compliance and security procedures, additional documentation may be requested in situations such as:

  • Reviewing withdrawal requests
  • Completing Know Your Customer (KYC) or AML checks
  • Confirming ownership of trading accounts or assets
  • Conducting routine compliance reviews
  • Verifying eligibility before restrictions are lifted

These checks are part of our ongoing commitment to safeguarding both our traders and the platform.

Documents You Can Submit

Depending on your situation, you may be asked to provide one or more of the following documents as proof of wealth or ownership.

Income Verification
  • Tax Returns

Provide complete tax return documents for the last two taxable years. All pages should be fully visible and readable.

  • Payslips

Submit payslips covering income from the past two years. Clear PDF copies or photos are accepted.

Trading & Crypto Activity
  • Trading Account Statements

Share account statements showing trading history, balances, or profits from the last 6–12 months.

  • Crypto Wallet Evidence

For crypto-related verification, screenshots or wallet records may be requested. In cases involving decentralized wallets, screen recordings may also be required to confirm ownership.

Helpful Tip:
Providing both screenshots and screen recordings can help speed up the review process.

Asset & Wealth Confirmation
  • Accountant Letters

If your funds originate from real estate holdings, inheritance, or similar assets, you may submit a signed and dated accountant letter outlining the details of those holdings.

For Business Owners & Self-Employed Traders

If you are self-employed or operate a business, the following documents may be requested:

  • Articles of Incorporation or company ownership documents
  • Certificate of Good Standing
  • Latest company financial statements
  • Business bank statements showing company earnings

If you need assistance during the verification process, the Sway Funded support team is available 24/7 to guide you every step of the way.
